We hope that you are all doing well despite the drastic changes that have occurred and continue to occur in our daily routines and lives. We know that you and your coaches want nothing more than to be running around in a volleyball gym and bettering your skills. However, at this time we have not received an “official” update from JVA concerning practices and events and USA volleyball has also advised that no practices or events be held until after April 15th. Due to school closings, we will not be hosting any tournaments and are unable to host any practices. If you were signed up for Dibs on April 4th and 5th, your dibs hours will be credited and checks shredded.
At this time we have not heard anything about the Duluth tournament cancellation. We will have a definite answer by April 15th. At that time we will confirm for club hotel reservations cancellation. We encourage you to personally contact your hotel to confirm the cancellation policy. If we have information before the 15th about the tournament being canceled, we will let you know ASAP. Even if they do not cancel the Duluth tournament, we will be evaluating the situation as a board and making a decision based on the safety and well being of our players and staff.
We also wanted to inform you that April payments will be cashed. Once we have determined that we have covered all expenses for the season we will be notifying families on a possible refund if due.
We apologize for not being able to give you more information at this time. We continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will provide periodic updates as information becomes more apparent.
This is a very difficult situation for everyone. All of our staff is missing their teams and being in the gym. We hope the girls are able to get outside and play a little volleyball with their family as the weather hopefully starts to improve.
