the opportunity to apply for college scholarships from the club.

(Scholarships are one time payments and are not renewed every year.)
What Do I Need to Submit?
You will need to submit the following information to the STMA JO Volleyball board in order to be considered for one of the $500 College scholarships. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship program.

Letters of Recommendation

STMA JO's program is committed to the development and promotion of volleyball within the St Michael - Albertville area. The program provides an opportunity for player ages 10 through 18 to play volleyball year round, thus allowing them to learn new skills and develop skills already acquired. The goals of STMA JO's coaches goes further than just teaching volleyball skills, but includes teaching important life skills such as responsibility and teamwork. The program also emphasizes the importance of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and individual achievements within a fun, competitive, and safe environment.
This program is designed to introduce volleyball to players in 1st thru 6th grade. Our Goal as a Youth Development Program is to provide the opportunity for players to experience the sport of volleyball at a beginning level. They will be provided with the skills, knowledge and understanding of the game to the best of their ability. Teamwork and other life skills will also be taught. They will be challenged to improve their skill level and to try new techniques that will enable them to perfom to the best of their ability.
